This was inspired by the common scene in any many european communities.  This inspiration for this painting was taken from an image captured during a trip to Cinfines de Douro, Portugal. Common among women to carry laundry, bread, fish and many other things on thier heads.  This is a limited edition Giclee print and just one of 250.
