Inspiration for my artwork and photography come from day to day experiences and places… something I see that causes a stir within me and peaks my interest to the degree that I want to capture and share it.

I began drawing when I was very young. In my teen years, I advanced into oils, watercolor and charcoal. Many of these art pieces were on display in the Springville Museum of Art. I attended Southern Utah University with an art scholarship.

When I am painting, the thrill of seeing an image in my mind take shape and come alive on canvas is the force that drives me. Also, my family is a huge support and I love to see and hear their responses to my work.

Photography is another medium that stirs my creativity. Over the course of 23 years, I have photographed many brides, weddings, families, individuals and places. I enjoy taking photos outdoors in natural lighting and settings.

When I give someone their photo and see their face light up, it makes my heart dance.
